To help you get a real feel for what it is like to study at the University of Lincoln, we hold a number of dedicated postgraduate events and activities throughout the year for you to take part in. 

Postgraduate Open Day

Saturday 8 March 2025 (11am-1.30pm)

Our Open Days are the best way to find out about postgraduate student life at Lincoln. You can chat one to one with academics, tour our facilities, and get expert advice on funding your postgraduate qualification. As well as hearing a series of talks by our expert staff, there’ll be time to talk to our Postgraduate Team about the support services available, applying to Lincoln, and any other questions you may have.

MSc Games Development and Design

Wednesday, 19 March, 4pm - 5.30pm.

Join us at our Discover More: MSc Games Development and Design event on Wednesday, 19 March, 4pm - 5.30pm in the Isaac Newton Building. This conversion course is perfect for students from any discipline looking to break into the games industry or creative technology sector.

MA Medieval Studies Webinar

Wednesday, 30 April, 7pm-8pm

Lincoln has a long and fascinating history. With its Norman castle, world-renowned Gothic cathedral, manuscripts and documents, including Magna Carta, the city is home to a wealth of medieval resources, making it the perfect place to undertake MA Medieval Studies. Join our academics on Wednesday, 30 April, 7pm - 8pm as they discuss MA Medieval Studies at Lincoln.

Postgraduate Application Support Drop-In

We run postgraduate application drop-in sessions every other Wednesday from 1.30pm until 4.30pm on the second floor of the Minerva Building (room MB2101), on our Brayford Pool Campus. The next Postgraduate Drop-In will be on Wednesday, 5 March.

One-to-one Appointments

For a more bespoke service, our dedicated Postgraduate Team offers one-to-one calls or meetings where you can discuss your individual circumstances and aspirations in detail. The team can help you to explore your options, suggest courses, signpost relevant funding streams, and support you at every stage of your journey to Lincoln. They can also arrange one-to-one chats with academic staff for any course-specific enquiries.
